Fernando, the proprietor of the porcelain shop in Falderall, is a bull, making him a literal 'bull in a china shop'.

This is the only game in the series in which Queen Valanice has a major role.
The icon interface of this game is significantly different from the previous two games and most other Sierra games: instead of the multiple command icons (Walk, Look, Take/Use and Talk), there is only one all-purpose cursor in shape of a scepter, whose top glitters whenever the player passes it over an item/character which can be interacted with, or turns into an arrow to point a way to which the player can walk. There is controversy about this feature among the players: some prefer it because it makes the game easier to play, which was creator Roberta Williams' intention, as her own mother couldn't play her previous games. However, experienced players claim that it is an overly simplistic interface and makes the game less challenging, in comparison to the previous games.
