(at around 2h 10 mins) When Winston tells Jules and Vincent the route that they'll be taking from Jimmy's house in Toluca Lake to Monster Joe's in North Hollywood, he says they'll be going up Hollywood Way. Hollywood Way is to the east of both Toluca Lake and North Hollywood, it wouldn't make sense for them to go that way, especially if they want to spend as little time on the streets as possible.
If Jimmie's house is on the east side of Toluca Lake, it would only be a few blocks from Hollywood Way (in Winston's words, "a few twists and turns aside"). North Hollywood extends east all the way over to Hollywood Way (by the Bob Hope airport). If Monster Joe's Truck & Tow is anywhere near the airport, this would be the quickest route.
