  • I'm sorry, but that movie was awful!

The only thing good was Lucy,Joel & the fact that it was a short movie! Thank Goodness! I owned it, sold it.... *~~~Sorry~~~*
  • Yes, she flashes that dazzling smile of hers a couple of times, but that does not a masterpiece make..

Against that, you've got ropey film-stock quality, clumsy cinematography and editing, first-day-of-film-school acting, and a truly awful, overbearing score which swamps any potential for genuine emotion or pathos. The score attempts to impose what you're supposed to feel rather than letting it emerge from the screen.

And the plot is self defeating. It's intended to be uplifting, a moment of self knowledge and development in a pointless, conflicted existence. However, since it ends with the characters in exactly the same state as they started, with nothing resolved or improved, it merely highlights the pointlessness of their relationship and lives.

One for Lawless completists only, but even she can't pardon this turkey.
  • At first glance, there isn't much there there, but once you spend some time thinking about it, this is a concise but pithy little film with a carpe diem philosophy at its heart. Lucy Lawless' smile flames like a comet across the face of this film.
