  • Warning: Spoilers
POINT DUME might better be called POINT DUMB as there's very little reason to tune into this micro-budgeted indie thriller shot in San Pedro. The main character is a mild-mannered accountant who gets involved in a violent drug deal and various women who use him for their own purposes. The whole story is shot in a couple of apartments with a great deal of talk and unconvincing violence but very little in the way of actual suspense, narrative structure, or thrills. Monique Parent shows up for a nude cameo and the great Robert Z'Dar chews and chews the scenery without restraint. Even Joe Estevez is roped into appearing, but it's still totally without merit.
