Donald Trump is not only the 45th President of America, but he’s also throwing his hat into the ring once again to try and become the 47th President of the U.S.
A very polarizing political figure, in addition to being the leader of the free world, he also has real-estate mogul to his resume, as well as actor, appearing in many movies over the years.
But, why has he had so many cameos in the past? During a Hollywood Reporter interview, actor Matt Damon stated that Trump had a special requirement for filmmakers who wanted to use any of his properties in their films, and that was apparently to give him a small movie role in the flick.
Most of these movie appearances have caught fans completely off guard. Below is the top “unexpected” movie cameos Donald Trump has made.

Thursday’s episode of Paramount+’s “Frasier” revival saw the return of Dr. Lilith Sternin – the ex-wife of Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) and mother of Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) – as the two parents compete for their son’s affection during his birthday.
Showrunner Joe Cristalli (“Life In Pieces”) told TheWrap that “nothing was more enjoyable as a fan to watch” than seeing Grammer and Neuwirth’s characters go toe-to-toe zinging each other again.
“There’s a version of this show where ‘Oh, Lilith and Frasier are a little softer now, they found a nice balance and they’re starting to come around’ and no, that’s not the case,” Cristalli told TheWrap. “They’re still going at each other hard and it’s so fun to write for that. It’s so fun for such a specific voice to come up with these insults and jokes that nobody else can perform except for Kelsey and Bebe.

Per the episode’s description, “When they reunite at Freddy’s birthday party, Lilith, in classic form, is far from pleased about having to share Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) now that Frasier is back living in Boston. Wendy Morgan‘s animal welfare docu-drama “Mercy” has been picked up by Los Angeles-based distributor All Channel Films, Inc. All Channel Films will represent the film, which premiered at the Awareness Film Festival in October, in the U.S. and Canada across pay and basic cable, video/DVD, VOD/SVOD, PPV and other distribution platforms.
With humans standing in for animals, “Mercy” lifts the lid on the more unpalatable side of the meat industry as told though the eyes of a pig named Mercy as she goes from a factory farm to a slaughterhouse. Maria Austin (“The Reverend and Mrs. Simpson”) plays Mercy alongside Annette Badland (“Ted Lasso”), Mark Wingett (“Quadrophenia”) and Morgan (“Mrs. Lowry and Son”), who wrote and directed the film.
“One of my goals was to bring ‘Mercy’ to North American audiences to raise awareness about the film’s disturbing but important subject matter,” said Morgan.

a series by Christopher James looking at the 'Gay Best Friend' trope
Incredibly disappointed I only now realized there was a road trip dramedy with Whoopi Goldberg, Mary-Louise Parker and Drew Barrymore.Long live the era of Whoopi Goldberg vehicles (aka the 90s).
Goldberg kick-started the 90s by winning a (well-deserved) Oscar for Ghost and headlining the smash-hit Sister Act. From there, we got a string of movies where Goldberg was the leading lady. Though they varied in quality and weren’t always progressive, it was impressive to see movie after movie built around a black actress. Who else could do Eddie, Bogus, The Associate And Ghosts of Mississippi all in 1996? We’re going a year earlier for this week’s gay best friend. No, we’re not talking about Theodore Rex (though… should we). Instead, we are talking about the messy dramedy I didn’t know I needed in my life,...

Many of us, during this election cycle, have found us switching from live TV to our Netflix queues in search of escapism. But because the two people currently running for president of the United States have been in the public eye for decades, there’s always a danger that you might be reminded, on-screen or through some clever joke, that November 8 is coming.
By the numbers, odds are pretty good that between the two candidates, the one you’ll see will be Donald Trump. According to IMDb, since 1981 Donald Trump has made over 230 film and television appearances — 219 as “Self” and 20 as an actor usually playing “Donald Trump,” though there may be some overlap between the two.

Whoopi Goldberg used “The View” on Tuesday to weigh in on Matt Damon‘s controversial comments about actors keeping their sexuality private for the sake of their craft, and she doesn’t agree. “I played a gay woman, in ‘Color Purple,’ a man in ‘The Associate’ and we’re actors,” Goldberg said during the ABC daytime talk show. “We’re supposed to be able to play everything and play it convincingly. So, I don’t think whether you know, or think or believe I’m gay has nothing to do with what my abilities are. As an actor that’s how I feel.

"The View" will be going on summer hiatus soon, but co-host Whoopi Goldberg will be busy with her latest project: starring in and executive producing the upcoming television movie "A Day And A Dollar Short."
The movie, which is based on Terry McMillan's book by the same name, is an original Lifetime production. Goldberg will play Viola Price, a matriarch who "sets out to fix her fractured family" after being told that she will die soon, according to a statement from the network on Friday.
The filming will take place this summer, and the movie is slated to premiere in 2014. This is the latest collaboration between Goldberg and McMillan. The two worked together on "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," which was also based on a novel by McMillan.
Though Goldberg is most often seen on "The View" these days, she has continued acting career outside of the show.

David Lloyd was one of those TV writers whose work spread across the history of television. He worked on shows ranging from The Tonight Show in the 60s to Frasier in the 90s and early 2000s.
Lloyd died earlier today after a long illness.
Lloyd had a part in many memorable TV shows over the years, as a writer and/or a producer, including Cheers, Wings, Taxi, Lou Grant, Rhoda, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Phyllis, The Tony Randall Show, Dear John, The Dick Cavett Show, The Associate, and The Best of the West, and many other shows.

Paramount has hired William Monahan (The Departed) to adapt John Grisham’s legal thriller The Associate for star actor Shia Labeouf.
This will be the ninth Grisham novel to be adapted for the big screen. They’ve all been pretty good except for Christmas with the Kranks based on the book Skipping Christmas. Apparently when he strays from legal fiction he runs into a rough patch. I’m sure Hollywood will find a way to get around to the other nine of his books.
Labeouf will play a Yale Law School student with a sordid secret that leaves him vulnerable to blackmail. He’s manipulated into taking a job at a law firm and working on a multibillion-dollar lawsuit.
My sordid secret is I’m a fan of Shia Labeouf. I know its trendy to hate the kid, but after I saw him carry the Hitchcock rip-off Disturbia, I knew he was the real deal.
