Porn parodies became elaborate and big budget but remained lousy ripoffs. This one taking off on "Mission: Impossible" (it seems the TV series, since this video was released a year before the first Cruise feature film came out) is dinky and really bad.
Alex Sanders rides a motorcycle, hence an awareness of the Cruise project, but is otherwise blank on screen. The storyline is quite moronic and self-conscious, one of those transparent rah-rah porn concepts, in this case projecting an election in 1996 of a right-wing repressive regime (in fact, Bob Dole became the Republican nominee against Clinton, hardly a right-wing nutcase) that would crack down on porn videocassettes. Bobby Vitale (spelled Vatelli on screen) plays the evil leader and is given a stupid superpower very poorly enacted that sinks the movie in the first reel. Acting by everyone is pi*s poor.
Mitchell Spinelli's direction is atrocious, and all we're left with is sex. I enjoyed seeing Tera Heart in a lousy lead role, and one big boobs threesome scene was diverting thanks to Heather Lee and Rachel Love. Otherwise, this one's a disaster.
