No need to mince words here. I saw this film a while back and thought it was time I had my say.
It's an updating of the classic Grecian story, and what it lacks in professional image it more than makes up for in performance. Some of these actors are doing really first rate jobs.
The script is well manicured and hits many notes right on key - as a matter of fact, I think you'll have a tough time finding much that is better written - regardless of budget.
The fact that the film is not yet available for public consumption may be remedied soon - and, when it is, I suggest that you run right out and see it or get yourself a copy. As you know, pictures that require an audience to think usually don't hang around in the cinema for very long. So keep your eyes open and don't miss it.
Really.
