  • Khan's genius and rhythm , Ahmed Zaki's unique talent in embodying the character of the officer "Hisham" ,The music of Kazazian and the songs of Abdel Halim Hafez complete the film and turn it into a cinematic masterpiece.

-Ahmed Zaki rises in the degree of acting to a degree that no other artist in his generation has reached for the same character.

-The beautiful "Mervat Amin" is amazing

The ending was shocking to me but was justified.

S film is one of the most iconic movies of the Arab world where society is hold by a steel grip with unlimited and unquestioned authorities to security forces disregarding the rank which made a single security officer (Ahmad Zaki) act like a God throughout the film despite he pretended that he is in (Love) that never made him change or even to act as a normal human being instead acting like a God
  • Before this, Al-harrif was my fv movie for mohammed khan but, Ahmed Zaki can change things !

    Warning: Spoilers
A masterpiece.. one my favorite khan and Zaki films. Khan being one of the pioneers of Egyptian neo-realism executed the script with style and grace.. his unusual use of jump cuts and close ups were ahead of his time. The film tells the story of Hesham a corrupt police officer who gets fired after a national investigation in the 70's cannot deal with society after being unable to exercise power on others, and his romantic wife Mona who suffers from the over controlling and manipulative relationship.

After "ahlam, hend and Kamilia" this film is definitely one of my Khan favorites. Mervat Amin, a very underrated actress and a 70's sex symbol showed great talent and was surprisingly not overshadowed by Ahmed Zaki's genius. This outstanding thriller needs to be translated and uploaded on youtube. So many Egyptian gems are hidden and not given enough attention.
  • The best actor did a police chief in Egypt and one of the best in the world
