In the early seasons, in the opening credits, the pictures on the wall of Chris, Meg, and Stewie, in the background, have blurred faces. Later on, however, their faces appear normally.

The most frequent animation error seen in the show is the appearance of the eyebrows (and some cases the eyes). The eyebrows are known to disappear and/or reappear at times, or in rare cases even "duplicate", creating an extra pair of eyebrows (as seen on Lois' father when Peter meets him in "Death Lives").
In the season 5 episode "Stewie Loves Lois," the end credits are rearranged to mimic the end credits of "All In The Family," complete with the show's closing theme song.
