Singers Dev Negi and Priya Saraniya have released their own rendition of the classic ‘90s track ‘Jo Haal Dil Ka’ from the film ‘Sarfarosh’, remaking the track with a modern touch while retaining the musicality of the original.
A beautiful and heartfelt track, ‘Jo Haal Dil Ka’ has an iconic melody which gets reinvigorated with a new contemporary twist while still keeping things familiar, mixing in a passionate romance with its ups and downs that can’t be broken.
This is done extremely well as the acoustic instrumentation compliments the voices of Dev and Priya who seamlessly blend their voices with one another, creating a vocal contrast which only accentuates the overall romantic mood.
A powerful and booming production, the song is done in a typical pop sensibility with a loud booming bass, an acoustic guitar with simple melodies, and some elements of Bollywood pop, American pop merged with an electronic side.

Jatin Pandit, one half of the now-disbanded composer duo Jatin-Lalit, releases his first non-film single, "Dhadakte rehna" on Friday. The video of the song, incidentally, stars his son Raahul Jatin.
"My son Raahul Jatin heard the composition and loved it. The song started growing on us, that's when Raahul suggested that I should record this and release it as an independent single," says Jatin.
The romantic ballad is composed, sung and penned by Jatin Pandit. The music video, featuring Raahul with Jessica Lopez, is directed by Harper Gahunia and is shot in California, US.
"I was waiting for some people to join me in my studio, (so) I just picked my guitar and this hook line started flowing through me. I instantly recorded the tune and completely enjoyed creating it," Jatin adds.
"I'm glad that all aspects worked out in spite of the Covid situation, and now we are going to release it.

New Delhi, Jan 19 (Ians) Critically acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui says he loves playing dry characters that do not go overboard with emotions, even though the audience rarely roots for such roles.
The actor has been in business for over two decades, and he has his favourites when it comes to his characters. Surprisingly, they are not the ones that brought him fame.
"The characters that are my favourite, are not liked by people much. My favourite character was the one that I played in 'Photograph' (street photographer Rafi). I had done a film called 'Patang'. I like that character (wedding band-singer Chakku) too because there wasn't much acting involved. While doing these roles, the intention was to show an ordinary man with no special qualities, and less drama," he told Ians.
"But these kind of characters are generally not liked by the audience. I am not saying that the audience is wrong.

It has been a hell of a season for the top-rated, longstanding medical drama.
If Grey's Anatomy Season 16 didn't do anything else, it kept fans talking.
It had love triangles, relationship drama, patient advocacy, mental illness storylines, and the unexpected and shocking exit of veteran actor Justin Chambers that left fans and the series reeling.
We were better acquainted with the Grey's-verse with Station 19 crossovers, and the rocky season came to an early close thanks to a pandemic.
But it managed to work as a season finale with quite the cliffhanger, and the season ended on a stronger note than it started.
Let's dig into this highly-discussed season and talk about what worked and what didn't.

This has been the most challenging role for me,” said the National Award-winning actor.
It goes without saying that portraying the role of one of the most potent and influential men of the country, would come with its own hurdles. But looking at Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s onscreen aplomb, one cannot gauge the kind of effort that must have gone into the prepping for this role. With numerous open letters being written to the actor, yesterday Aamir, cleared the air about his statements. Well, despite the Khan's clarifications Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya posted an open letter to the actor on his Facebook page condoning the remarks. Below is copy of the same: An open letter to Janab Aamir Khan, Janab Aamir Khan, I am an ordinary Indian citizen and an avid movie-goer. You are a superstar in a country where the majority of movie-goers are Hindu. For years, we have spent our money to buy tickets for your movies. It is our money that has made you what you are today. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one example of a man who went from rags to riches, literally! From being a small-time watchman to playing a role equivalent to the lead, the actor has surely shot to fame with hardwork.
Nawazuddin started his career with Shool (1999), where he played the role of a waiter. Surprisingly, the movie also starred Manoj Bajpayee (who was the main lead in Gangs Of Wasseypur, where Nawazuddin gained the much-deserved recognition). However, he started getting noticed from Anurag Kashyap's movie Black Friday.
Nawaz then played a terrorist in Kabir Khan's New York, and now the actor plays a sidekick in his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan along side.
He also did minor roles in 2010 content-driven movies Peepli Live and Paan Singh Tomar, but got hugely noticed in them. He also played a major role in another Irrfan Khan starrer Lunchbox (in 2013) and Vidya Balan...

Mumbai, Dec 16: Actor Naseeruddin Shah, a veteran in the Hindi film world, says Indian filmmakers' fascination for the Academy Awards is "laughable". He believes "we are never going to win any".
The 63-year-old, who has featured in films like "Masoom", "Sarfarosh", "Iqbal" and "The Dirty Picture", was asked what he makes of the current scenario of Indian filmmakers fighting with each other to make it to the Oscars.

It was earlier being said that even though Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee are together in Talaash, the trio will not be seen in the same frame even once. The latest one on this is that now they will be seen together in a special song called Muskaane Jhooti Hain, in which all suspects of the crime will be seen under one roof in the same room.
The film is reportedly a suspense thriller revolving around a crime, which is being investigated by Aamir Khan who plays the Inspector. This music video is apparently made to confuse the audience further and generate more curiosity because of the suspects being in the same frame. With this never done before idea, Talaash seems to be the kinds that would revive the suspense thriller genre for Bollywood. Producer Riteish Sidhwani excitedly quoted, ”Yes, the search is on; in one room now!

Well, seems quite a few out there have noticed these developments as well, most notably being the Censor Board, which has objected to this accusation. Result? Delhi Belly is certainly looking like it is a new type of film for the Hindi film industry. Instead of the pyaar of Ddlj we have the madness and the vibe of something like Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. But it is not only in its story the promos for the film have been very unique as well. We have been treated to stars Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor rockin' it to the punk beat of 'Bhaag Dk Bhose', Vir putting on an Elvis groove for 'Jaa Chudail' and then we have the ghazal-ish 'Nakkaddwaley Disco, Udhaarwaley Khisko'. Talking about the promo for 'Nakkaddwaley Disco, Udhaarwaley Khisko' a source said, "The number that Kiran shot takes a potshot at the whole Ghazal culture. Imran was playing what looked like a mixture of Naseer's character in Sarfarosh and Pankaj Udhas. While we shot the number, everyone present was rolling with laughter.
