Wendy is a 6 or 7 year old girl living in a low income housing situation somewhere in the U.K. Her mother leaves her with her teenage sister while at work. The big sister doesn't care much for Wendy. She wakes one morning to see men climbing into a neighboring building. For a moment, it looks like it's going to be a "Rear Window" situation where she witnesses a crime. However, she befriends the men, and the tension begins to build.
I'm not sure how I felt about this movie. The final shot was a little ambiguous.
It was worth a view for the setting and the performances, but I didn't understand what it all added up to.
