The body of a young woman is found by a dutiful AA driver, Superintendent Duggan manages to link her death, with the theft of some very valuable and rare bottles of whisky.
Definitely a little bit of propaganda for The AA at the beginning, it almost felt like an advert for them, I'm not sure I could say my experience with themselves was quite as incredible as was suggested.
It's not a mystery as such, it's definitely a procedural, bit it's more like the workings of a case rather than an actual whodunnit. It shows us how The Police of the time used various sources, including informers, and how they sat, dubiously in the criminal world.
Fairly well acted, but just lacked any suspense or intrigue, it felt more like a training video.
5/10.
