Benjamin Barry is an advertising executive and ladies' man who, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days. Andie Anderson covers the "How To" beat for "Composure" magazine and is assigned to write an article on "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days." They meet in a bar shortly after the bet is made.
At the party towards the end, two songs are played in the background that appear in Audrey Hepburn's films; one from Sabrina (1954) (Sabrina theme) and one song from Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) - "Moon River".
"And only then will the people of Tajikistan know true and lasting peace." Andie, it's brilliant. It's really moving. But it's never going to appear in Composure Magazine.
When Andie goes storming out of Ben's apt, she slams the door behind her. As the door shuts, the peephole cover swings to the side showing no actual hole behind it.
