RuPaul’s Drag Race named a new winner this past week, as Nymphia Wind, Plane Jane, and Sapphira Cristál competed for the throne.
Nymphia was named the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16, taking home a nice $200,000 check for her hard work.
Nymphia also earned the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.
“To those who feel like they don’t belong, just remember to live fearlessly and have courage to live your truth. And Taiwan, this is for you!” she told Entertainment Weekly.
It took 16 long episodes to lead to a winner, and some Drag Race fans feel the work and talent should yield a bigger prize.
One of those fans is Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale, who shared some thoughts on social media.

As you may already know, Orwell’s novel 1984 was penned in 1948. The name itself is a clever play on numbers, with the story predicting a dystopian future centered around communism, complete with a “Big Brother” overseeing and knowing everything.
Moving beyond the state systems, which seem to be becoming somewhat obsolete regardless of their remaining power, it appears the real threat now comes from AI and its ability to analyze the vast amounts of Big Data collected from users through numerous systems. This data is shared amongst various systems thanks to conglomerates of tech companies we’re all familiar with.
These corporations track and collect user data, claiming its use for advertising purposes and sometimes more (I can assure you). Some search engines have supposedly changed their policies for the benefit of users, making their lives easier. Meanwhile, they accrue information from news media and specialist magazines and process them according to their liking.

We have good news for Bachelor Nation fans who want to see Tyler Cameron take on The Bachelor role.
No, we’re not confirming that he’s been cast, but he hasn’t ruled out the possibility.
Tyler is one of the most popular Bachelorette alums, having first been introduced on Hannah Brown’s season.
He came in second place after Hannah chose Jed Wyatt. And while the two ended their engagement soon after, Tyler and Hannah didn’t rekindle the romance we saw on the show.
After her season ended, he wasn’t ready to take on the top role, so his best friend, Matt James, starred on the dating series instead.
But that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting to see him look for love on The Bachelor.
And, according to Tyler, it hasn’t stopped ABC from asking him either.

How is it forty years since 1984?? Well, that’s just how time works, my friends. It was a time before mobile phones. Before the internet. Before we got worried about and then forgot about Y2K. It was the year in which George Orwell envisioned a world of doublethink, room 101 and Big Brother. And it was several years before Room 101 and Big Brother would come to mean TV shows and not dystopian ideals. But we digress…
Fortunately, the very nature of films is that the passing of time does not erode the quality of a classic movie, and even more fortunately, 1984 was absolutely packed with them.

Staying faithful: Has there been another entertainment show with an impact nearing that of The Traitors in recent years? The reality whodunnit format has sold around the world after debuting in the Netherlands, becoming a smash on Peacock and the BBC in the UK. For my money, it’s the casting that’s marked it out from the crowd, and casting will be all-important to the upcoming British celebrity version. As Stewart and Max revealed yesterday, the BBC and Studio Lambert — which makes the UK and U.S. versions — are close to a deal make a version with famous faces. Yikes. Married at First Sight’s messy Denver season is drawing to a close, but the anger and animosity between the cast isn’t letting up.
The two-part season 17 reunion featured tears, cheating accusations, and stunning admissions. Cast members revealed that they’d colluded to try to shape the show’s narrative, including deleting diary cams and lying to the experts during counseling sessions. Clare accused her ex, Cameron, of masterminding the whole plan, which he denied. Emily suggested Cameron was faking his heart problem to get out of filming. Brennan finally admitted he wasn’t attracted to Emily because of her drunken, party-girl antics and irresponsible financial behavior. Emily clashed with reunion host Kevin Frazier and stormed off stage during one particularly heated moment. In other words, it was a mess.

Meanwhile, rumors about All Stars 5 recently dropped, suggesting a significant change in the cast.
With those rumors came an insider posting the names of four people from past seasons of The Challenge.
A few have also appeared on MTV’s competition series quite recently, but they have no desire to participate right now.

Bachelor Nation is still reeling from Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s divorce announcement last week.
The Golden Bachelor couple got married less than two months after the finale aired and then revealed they were divorcing just three months after The Golden Wedding.
In the wake of the divorce shocker, many Bachelor Nation stars have spoken out including one of Theresa’s cast members and host Jesse Palmer.
Even Big Brother alum Rachel Reilly had something to say about the split, defending the possibility of finding love on reality TV after critics claimed it just didn’t work.
There has been plenty of support for the couple as they went their separate ways and a bit of shade.
Now, The Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron has shared his thoughts and they are a bit harsher than what anyone else has had to say so far.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist stunned The Golden Bachelor fans last week when they showed up on Good Morning America to announce their divorce.
The pair only got married three months ago and already want to call it quits.
Their reason is a head-scratcher — they can’t decide where to live, with Gerry’s home in Indiana and Theresa’s in New Jersey — because they knew about the distance when they got engaged and when they got married.
Many have spoken out, including The Golden Bachelor cast and even the host, Jesse Palmer.
The news even had Big Brother’s Rachel Reilly talking, as she responded to reality TV fans who think it’s impossible to find love while filming these shows.
Now, it’s Theresa Nist’s turn to say something other than that prepared statement she delivered alongside Gerry last week.

There’s been a lot of chatter in the wake of The Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announcing the end of their short-lived marriage.
Many reality TV fans are using this surprising news to affirm that reality TV is not a good place to find love and claim that marriages that originated on TV just don’t work.
It does seem like finding love on a reality show goes against the odds. After all, filming usually takes place over a short period, even on reality dating shows, giving cast members little time to get to know each other.
But several reality TV couples are still going strong, proving that sustainable love does sometimes bloom.

When MTV put The Challenge on their airwaves back in 1998, the idea was to assemble a group of former Real World and Road Rules cast members and pit them against each other for a cash prize. Nobody could have predicted the show would be going strong over a quarter century later with more than 500 episodes across 39 seasons, spinoffs shooting all over the globe, and a rabid fan base that obsesses over every detail of it on social media, web forums, podcasts, and even live Challenge Mania events where fans gather together to meet cast members.

Big Brother 25 runner-up Matt Klotz did a recent interview discussing his time in the house. It led to surprises when he tried to distance himself from his crush on Reilly Smedley.
As a reminder, Matt developed feelings for Reilly early in the Big Brother 25 season. He even expressed that to her before she became the second person evicted.
Later, he created shrines for Reilly inside the Big Brother house and got openly upset at his fellow houseguests if they messed with those shrines. It was clear his feelings were increasing as the season progressed.
When he finally won a Head of Household Competition late in the season, he received an Hoh letter from Reilly and a photo of her with his parents. He couldn’t stop sharing his excitement on the Big Brother live feeds.
Reilly popped up at the season finale, and it appeared they would try dating in the real world.

After 12 seasons on linear TV, flagship Spanish talent show “Operación Triunfo,” produced by Banijay Iberia’s Gestmusic, has jumped successfully to the online environment via Prime Video.
“Operación Triunfo’s” first gala was the most viewed premiere in the history of Prime Video in Spain. Its app for voting accumulated 53 million votes and, on social networks, generated 718.9 million views in TikTok and YouTube, according to VOD analytics Sigmados30.
Since 2021, when Netflix teamed with Grupo iZen to launch “Insiders,” the streamer’s first Spanish Original reality show, the demand of unscripted content on the online platforms has been progressively increasing.
“Entertainment can be more cost effective for streamers than producing fiction,” argues iZen president Jose Velasco, who years ago produced the Spanish version of “Big Brother.”

How far would you go to save the life of a loved one? That’s the question facing Matt at the start of Bag of Lies. His wife Claire has terminal cancer and has decided to stop subjecting herself to the brutal effects of chemo, which was simply delaying the inevitable. He on the other hand can’t deal with the idea of her death.
In desperation, he makes a deal with Al who possesses what he claims is a magic bag that can save her. All it takes is a simple ritual, wait three days and then follow three simple rules afterwards. One thing is clear from a quick scroll through a cable TV guide or paying attention to the featured show commercials—the scarcity of family dramas.
Once that point is brought up, it's hard not to wonder what that says about our culture and society as a whole.
There was a time when families sat down and watched TV together.
Some of my fondest memories include watching Friday Night Lights and Gilmore Girls with my parents.
However, nowadays, the idea is becoming a foreign concept if the kids are under 18 or at least not teenagers.
There are many motives behind the switch to crime-focused content, whether true or procedural, hospital dramas, comedies, and series full of mature content.
And we are here to shed some light on the reasons for the change!

The producers have been holding live auditions, and applications to be on the BB26 cast have been open for a while.
Soon enough, Big Brother fans will be glued to the live feeds again, and social media users will debate who deserves to win.
The producers have kept certain things under wraps, including the theme and whether or not there is any stunt casting.

Some Big Brother 25 drama surfaced (again) on social media between America Lopez and Jared Fields.
America and Jared were on the BB25 cast, but both came up short in their quest to win the $750,000.
Jared was sent home early in the season after trying to play both sides of the house. It was part of an attempt to keep it a secret that fellow player Cirie Fields is his mom.
America made it to the jury phase of the season but got evicted a bit before the final weeks happened. America then voted for Jag Bains to win on the finale night.
As a reminder, Jag beat Matt Klotz to become the Big Brother 25 winner. Bowie Jane finished in third place, and Cameron Hardin was named America’s Favorite Houseguest.
Cory Wurtenberger and America began a showmance in the Big Brother house that has continued into the real world. That...

Dean McDermott has a bone to pick with Candy Spelling. The Canadian actor says that his soon-to-be ex-wife Tori Spelling’s mother should have done more to support her daughter and her children when they were struggling financially.
In a November 2023 interview, McDermott slammed Candy, who inherited $500 million from her late husband Aaron Spelling when he died in 2006. But Tori – who filed for divorce from McDermott in March 2024 – received just a tiny sliver of her dad’s estate. In the years since his death, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star has struggled to pay her bills and at one point was reportedly living in an Rv with her five kids. McDermott thinks it’s only right that Candy step up and help out Tori in her time of need.

The second season of House Of Villains is finally going to happen. The names of the reality television stars have just been released. The list of villains is quite impressive. Recently, Amazon Prime introduced a new series that promises to be full of laughs, drama, and adventures. In The Goat, previous relative stars from multiple shows will compete for the title of “Greatest Of All Time Reality TV Star.”
Goat Coming To Prime
Markedly, Prime Video is bringing a new series that will crown The Goat Reality TV star. Notably, it looks like the crossover that reality TV has been missing. Coupled with challenges and alliances, the host Daniel Tosh jokes the contestants will have to put their “strength and lack of life skills” to the test to face off for the title. Undeniably, the show is packed with a reality star-studded cast from The Bachelor, Love Is Blind, Big Brother, Real Housewives, and many more popular shows. Each of the fourteen contestants will compete to be named the best reality star and of course, walk away with a $200,000 prize.
