  • "Kirk and Kerry" tricks us with the thin line of real life and fiction by putting actors Kirk Acevedo and Kerry Johnson playing two married actors who play in another film inside this short one a troubled couple and their problems can be interpreted as being their real ones or the problems of the characters which they play.

Director Azazel Jacobs makes a good combination of drama and comedy that teases us in wanting to know what's real and what's not, what's fiction and what's real between the couple discussions, aggressions, and their exchanges of I love you's and I hate you's they give to each other all the time. It's interesting to see how things are mixed and actors must always have in mind the difference between what they're doing on camera and off camera, and not confuse acting with real feelings. The performances of the cute couple are very interesting, they really know how to instigate doubt among the viewers who never know if they're acting or if they being real, a great acting indeed! It's a nice play, very enjoyable to watch. 9/10
