  • I miss this show - it was a lot of fun and the acting was great. It was also fun to see Connie Britton playing a completely different character from Spin City's Nikki. The role of the father was tailor-made for Brian Dennehy, who now plays a similar character as Finch's dad on "Just Shoot Me". If you're lucky enough to have seen this show, mourn its loss along with me!

Yes, I agree. this show is real, well-written and has a powerhouse performance in it from Brian Dennehy. But, sadly, NBC put it on as a mid-season show in a horrible time slot and after ten runs it has been cancelled.
  • What happened to this one? What didn't the networks like about it? Interesting story about a retired firefighter who looks forward to taking up artistic hobbies but his days are interrupted when his three children move back home and fill up his time with their problems. Led by Brian Dennehy as Dad Fitzgerald who now has to put down his paintbrush and listen and sort out the kids' problems, particularly his prized son, the Goldman Sachs stockbroker who called it quits cuz he wants to "find himself". Good clean family fun and entertainment with lots of laughs. Did it make a whole season? If so, hope to see it at least as a future DVD set.
