A sing-along to soar with!

This is a direct-to-video special musical where you can read the on-screen lyrics and sing-along to some of your favorite Disney songs from various movies including Peter Pan, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Jungle Book, Pinocchio, Winnie the Pooh and The Honey Tree, The Adventures Of Ichabod And Mr. Toad, Mary Poppins, and Dumbo.

It's a wonderfully packaged video with a great arrangement of songs (including You Can Fly, The Beautiful Briny Sea and Step in Time) played over Disney movie clips that will make you relive the magic, nostalgia and music from those movies. I remember buying this video from Target and was glad to add it into my family's Disney video collection. It's an excellent 27 min. program, hosted by the hilarious Professor Ludwig Von Drake, where you can just sit back, relax and soar with.

I love these Disney-Sing-Along-Songs, this is no exception. It is too short perhaps, but I still enjoyed it for the animation and songs, not to mention Ludwig Von Drake's fun narration particularly when introducing Colonel Hathi's March. Peter Pan is not my favourite Disney film but I hold a lot of affection for it as it was one of my first Disney films. You Can Fly! is for me the best song of the movie, 2nd Star to the Right coming in a close second, I loved the use of it here. That's not all though, we are also treated to The Jungle Book(Colonel Hathi's March), The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh(I am a Little Black Raincloud), Lady and the Tramp(He's a Tramp), Mary Poppins(Step in Time) and Pinocchio(I Got No Strings), all are done to great effect, though my favourite was Beautiful Briny Sea from Bedknobs and Broomsticks. The animation, music and vocals are excellent and the introduction is cute and amusing. Overall, a fun Disney video. 9/10 Bethany Cox
