Issued on DVD as part of the "Amazing Nurses Trilogy", this third of 3 intended junkers from Cal Vista and Metro somehow got the quality treatment by filmmaker James Avalon, surely one of Adult's all-time greats.
As a previous IMDb commenter noted, it features Bergman influence from "The Seventh Seal", with scenes connected by black and white segments that rather ably (and artfully) re-create the master's horizon procession, as well as femme dancers haunting lead Mark Davis's nightmares.
What makes this strange and interesting is the remoteness of such content, as well as the general Kafka-esque atmosphere of Davis's cryptic series of hospital sex scenes, to the underlying "Sexy Nurses" genre. That is obvious when viewing the first two volumes of the series, which I'm reviewing individually, the first a 1990 throwaway boasting three directors including Ron Jeremy and Buck Adams, and the clumsy 1993 followup by Mr. & Mrs. Fred Lincoln, that wastes such superstars as Celeste and Kylie Ireland.
Avalon, who was to direct Stacy Valentine in a classic Metro trilogy "Red Vibe Diaries", has her starring as a busty nurse who keeps Davis in the dark while subjecting him to various tests, including the expected method (for porn) of obtaining a sperm sample. Ultra-busty Sana Fey and Dolly Golden are fellow top-heavy and alluring nurses, while the one and only Stephanie Swift is worth waiting for in the final reels as a Doctor in a kinky threesome with Mark.
Avalon even throws in a clever (in context) Abbott & Costello routine featuring Davis and the oddball guy sharing his hospital room, T.T. Boy. Michael J. Cox is omitted from the opening credits, but effective in the sack in yet another threesome.
