An overworked mother and her daughter do not get along. When they switch bodies, each is forced to adapt to the other's life for one freaky Friday.
When Jamie Lee Curtis found out that Lindsay Lohan, who was going to be playing her daughter, had starred in The Parent Trap (1998), she asked, "Which twin did she play?", unaware that Lohan had performed both roles.
Honey, wake up.
Tess: Anna. Greet the day.
Anna gets a cartilage piercing while in Tess' body. Later that day Tess, while in Anna's body, instructs her to remove it. The piercing hole would have closed. However at the wedding reception the piercing is back. It would be assumed that she would not get it pierced being back in her own body.
At the beginning of the end credits, Pink Slip (the band in the movie) performs "Ultimate" at the wedding reception.
