Armed with a license to kill, Secret Agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007, and must defeat a private banker to terrorists in a high stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, Montenegro, but things are not what they seem.
I have a dinner jacket.
Vesper Lynd: There are dinner jackets and dinner jackets; this is the latter. And I need you looking like a man who belongs at that table.
James Bond: How?... It's tailored.
Vesper Lynd: I sized you up the moment we met.
Bond goes to great detail that his Vesper-drink should have "a thin slice of lemon peel". The first one he picks up and sips does have the lemon peel, but in the close-up immediately afterwards there is a pitted-olive in the glass, just by his finger tips, and no lemon peel.
The opening credits are played over imagery of playing cards and other gambling-type imagery. This sequence is unusual compared to other Bond films in that it doesn't focus on silhouettes of nude women.
