Pink burst onto the scene in early 2000 with the hit “There You Go.” And though her career has seen its share of ups and downs, the singer hasn’t ever diverged far from the spotlight. Now more than two decades into her music career, Pink continues to thrive. And in a recent retrospective of the singer’s music videos, a long-held feud between Pink and Christina Aguilera was unearthed.
Pink and Christina Aguilera didn’t get along on ‘Lady Marmalade’
Throughout her career, Pink has released countless hit singles. In addition to “There You Go,” some of her biggest hits include “Get the Party Started,” “So What,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “What About Us.” But one of her most popular songs is actually a collaboration with a trio of other chart-topping ladies: the 2001 cover of “Lady Marmalade” with Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mýa, and Pink.

Pink and Carey Hart's relationship is full of more ups and downs than a motocross track. The singer and professional biker met in 2001, and their on-again, off-again romance has inspired several of Pink's biggest hits. They have broken up twice, have two kids together, and are currently going strong. But without the struggle, we wouldn't have songs like "So What" or "Just Give Me a Reason." Her two most recent albums, 2008's Funhouse and 2012's The Truth About Love, are both heavily influenced by Carey. Read on to get some context, and find out what she's said about the tracks.

The new report should provide more fodder for the campaign by hedge fund titan Daniel Loeb to revamp Sony’s entertainment operations. With disappointing results from After Earth and a drop in home video sales, Sony says today that the studio’s revenues “decreased significantly” in Q2. The results are complicated, though. When you factor in currency exchange rates, a $106M gain from the sale of Sony Pictures’ music catalog, and higher TV ad sales in India, the Pictures unit’s revenues increased 3.6% vs the period last year to $1.6B with operating income of $38M, up from a loss. Sony’s music operation did better with help from releases including Pink’s The Truth About Love and Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience. Its sales improved 13.3% to $1.1B with operating income +48.1% to $109M. Despite the weak movie numbers, investors pushed Sony shares up 3.6% in pre-market trading as the electronics company generated a $35M profit,...

Pink's latest stop on her Truth About Love tour took a turn for the dramatic this weekend. The 33-year-old singer is currently in Melbourne, Australia for a series of eight shows at the city's Rod Laver Arena.
The first of the eight shows was held on Sunday night, when one fan attending the show tweeted an alarming message. Billboard reports that a 16-year-old Australian concert-goer was kicked out of the Rod Laver Arena and promptly arrested after he posted what seemed to be a bomb threat.
While the tweet has since been deleted, it reportedly read, "@Pink I'm ready with my Bomb. Time to blowup #RodLaverArena Bitch.”
The teenager is denying that he was making any sort of threat, attributing the tweet to a misinterpreted reference to Pink's song "Timebomb," a bonus track off of the artist's latest album, "The Truth About Love."

Pink has never been one to mince her words. Appearing on Glamour's June cover, the 33-year-old explains why sex is a popular topic on her latest album, The Truth About Love. The "Just Give Me a Reason" singer -- mom to daughter Willow, 23 months, with husband Carey Hart -- says she uses the word "slut" to diminish its meaning. George Watsky, who turned a video where he raps remarkably fast from the comfort of his own bedroom into more than 400,000 subscribers and a starring web series role, has joined DeStorm on the list of YouTube rappers who have released an album in 2013. He dropped Cardboard Castles this week, his second full length recording to a hot reception at #10 on the Itunes Albums Charts. The album features Watsky's trademark vocal attack, with his mile-a-minute pace and extremely verbose lyricism as present as ever. Cardboard Castles has two other elements working in its favor. The entire CD case can fold into a cardboard house, thus giving people an actual reason to own a physical copy. Secondly, it's Phil DeFranco approved, which could lead to increased sales. Let's call it the sxephil bump. Sure enough, initial sales have been strong, with the album debuting in between Pink's The Truth About Love and Eric Clapton's Old Sock.

She lost the Grammy for best pop vocal album to RCA Records labelmate Kelly Clarkson last week, but if an awards show should ever give out a trophy for best use of acrobatics in a pop concert, Pink surely would come out on top. Or at least so it seemed Saturday night at Staples Center, the third stop on her The Truth About Love tour. Using acrobatics isn't something new for Pink. She did on her 2009 Funhouse tour, and showcased it on TV with a breathtaking performance of "Glitter in the Air" at the 2010 Grammys. Yet on this

Three-time Grammy winner Pink, 33, who is up for best pop vocal album at this month's Grammy Awards - and kicks off her U.S. tour on Feb. 13 - shares the secrets behind her music. You're nominated for The Truth About Love. So how does the magic happen? When I start a record, I'm like, 'God, I wonder if I can even sing.' But I write poetry and keep a journal, then the first day I go into the studio, I'm like, 'Here we go, I'm turning the faucet on!' I bottle it up for so long that the inspiration is always there.

Taylor Swift, reuniting with LL Cool J to co-host the Grammy Nominations Concert Wednesday night (Sept. 5), might not have conquered all musical genres yet.
Welcoming the hip-hop actor to "her town," Nashville, T-Swizzle beatboxed while he sang "Mean."
