When an old enemy, the Cylons, resurface and obliterate the 12 colonies, the crew of the aged Galactica protect a small civilian fleet - the last of humanity - as they journey toward the fabled 13th colony, Earth.
The rank structure for the officers serving in the Colonial Fleet are as follows: OFFICERS: Admiral, Commander, Colonel, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Lieutenant (junior grade), Ensign. ENLISTED: Master Chief Petty Officer, Chief Petty Officer, Petty ... ...
Chief Petty Officer Tyrol:
Hey, buddy. It's the Chief. How you doing?
Crewman Specialist Socinus: What's going on Chief?
Chief Petty Officer Tyrol: Oh, you know... listening to the birds. I uh... I got a little something for the pain...
Chief Petty Officer Tyrol: Good news, buddy. They got a rescue party here. Raptor's just landed. We're going to put you ...
If the humanoid Cylons are only distinguishable from humans by the fact that there were only six models of them, why aren't they considered to be human beings? After all, if they can mate successfully with human beings and have all of the same bodily functions, are they not human?
Additionally, the equipment or biological changes that allow the Cylons to communicate with the robotic Cylons and their ships should be apparent if/when they are scanned. Yet no one during the entire run of series seems to have consider this.
At the end of the closing credits, there is a different, short cartoon skit of the two producers, Ronald Moore and David Eick, which usually ends with one causing the death of the other in some imaginative way.
