"The Bouncer" is a film that showed promise but seemed to end too quickly. It begins in a boxing ring as Knockout Kelly is getting knocked out once again. He apparently stinks as a boxer and his manager takes him to live in Jimtown...why, I have no idea. Everyone in Jimtown loves to fight and when Knockout gets a job as a bouncer you know he's getting in way over his head. One failure after another occurs and by the end of the film, Knockout's got the girl at least...or so he thinks.
This film had a cute premise but it ended too quickly. Sure, it's a short but the movie left me thinking 'is that all there is?'...as it came and left so abruptly.
