    Warning: Spoilers
For an independent short, this is a very well made and produced film. Unlike most independents, this one has very good acting and I was shocked to see Bill Cobbs in one of the leading roles. While you most certainly don't know this man by his name, he's been in a bazillion roles in movies and TV and I immediately recognized him as the all-powerful janitor from THE HUDSUCKER PROXY. He's a great character actor and having him play the cranky corpse(!) was a great casting coup.

The film starts with a bad joke. In fact, two of the jokes in this film were really old--the only negative things about the movie actually. And, in a twist that isn't usually associated with "funny", Cobbs is dead only moments later. However, on the way to the funeral, the hearse breaks down and Cobbs is alive!! Well, it turns out that this is really only Cobbs' ghost and only the hearse driver can see him, but Cobbs insists that the guy look up a lady and tell her that her father approves of her life and wishes her well!! So, much of the rest of the film consists of the poor driver going on an exhausting trek to deliver the message.

Very clever, funny and weird. This is the sort of quirky film I like and I advise you to give it a try.
