Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny.
The license plate of the Wayne Enterprises armored van begins with the letters "JL," a possible reference to the Justice League.
I used to want to save the world. This beautiful place. But I knew so little then. It is a land of beauty and wonder, worth cherishing in every way. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness simmering within. And mankind? Mankind ...
In the initial battle with the Germans on the beach all of the Amazons are on top of a cliff, from which they are easily able to reach and kill many Germans who are still in their boats. Yet they give up the high ground from which they can safely and easily pick off the German's. They then engage in hand to hand combat on the ground with enemies who clearly have superior weapons. For a group of warriors who have spent their whole lives training and fighting they would know that giving up their strategic advantage makes absolutely zero sense. There is no way they would do something as foolish as this and put so many of their lives at risk. Except of course to get Diana's Aunt killed in dramatic fashion and move the plot along. It's annoying and not believable.
This film features a new DC Comics logo: the Justice League heroes appear and line up and the camera zooms out to reveal the DC logo.
