A man believes he has put his mysterious past behind him and has dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters, he can't stand idly by - he has to help her.
Several aerial shots of the Leonard P. Zakim (Bunker Hill Memorial) bridge are seen throughout the film. The bridge is the main entry/exit route into Boston, and is featured in several movies and television shows that take place in Boston.
What's your new one about?
Robert McCall: Oh, it's about a guy who thinks he's a knight in shining armor. The only thing is, he lives in a world where knights don't exist anymore.
Teri: Sound like my world.
The "nail gun" McCall uses to kill Teddy in Home Mart is actually a Ramset Powder Fastening Systems gun. It's used to fasten wood- or steel-framing studs to concrete or steel. It fires 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 inch nails but for safety reasons can only be discharged if the bottom plate is pressed firmly against an object.
