Lillebet and Margaret Rose ALWAYS referred to their uncle as "Uncle David", which was his given name. The idea that Princess Margaret, years later in conversation with Prince Philip, would call him "Uncle Edward" is totally preposterous.
At her coronation, Queen Elizabeth II had 2 children (Charles and Anne). That would make her only sister third in line to the throne (not fifth, as claimed by the bogus announcer). Yes, years later 2 further children pushed Margaret back to fifth in line - - but certainly NOT at the time of the coronation.
The radio announcement following the death of George VI claims the Duke of Edinburgh will be made prince. Philip wouldn't be made a prince until 1957, five years later.
The newsreel announcer states that at the coronation Elizabeth will enter Westminster Abbey as Princess and leave as Queen. In fact Queen Elizabeth took that title immediately upon the death of her father, the coronation being a symbolic affirmation.
The radio announcement informing of the death of King George VI (which happened in 1952) said that Elizabeth would be crowned later in the year. In fact, the coronation wasn't until more than a year later, in June 1953.
The MP Willie Hamilton did not speak in a Scots accent, but a Northern English accent. It was only his parliamentary seat that was Scottish.
