When the menace known as the Joker emerges from his mysterious past, he wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, the Dark Knight must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.
The lenses that cover Batman's eyes during the hostage rescue scene, give him a look that's close to the comic and animated adaptations, where Batman's eyes are often visible in the dark, while the rest of his body is blackened out.

When the Joker and Two-Face are in the hospital room, the Joker unstraps Two-Face's right hand and it falls to his side. In the next shot the hand is higher and partially back in the strap.
Large blue flames dissipate in the center to form the new Batman symbol. The film title does not appear until the the closing credits.
