  • A great first short for a very talented upcoming writer/director. The movie deals with a very deep, sensitive subject. Watching this short really made me think about the daily incidents which are similar to Ex Post Facto, that go unnoticed or just merely become forgotten. This is a very serious subject and it urges me to want to stand up and do something about it. Revenge in essence is a true reaction after having something like that boil inside of you for what must seem like eternity. But also, it makes me sad to know that so many cases go unreported and that nothing really is being done. It is a very brave story and a very brave film, and I for one can relate to a degree. Keep it up Mr. Volken. I'm following your career.
