The ecclesiastical duo see through a female parishioner's apparent suicide. Some mobsters are behind her death - she knew something and she had to be silenced. Thing is she had confessed to Father Dowling that she knows something and is in danger before she dies. Naturally, he gets Stevie to pose as a card dealer. This less of a mystery and more of a thriller. It's entertaining enough.
