  • "Little Orphan Morkie" begins with Mork receiving a letter from the Immigration Department, where Judge Baker (Charles Lane) acknowledges that he cannot grant naturalization without further evidence. Having no passport or birth certificate, only marriage to a US citizen can save Mork from deportation. A better option turns out to be adoption, but Mork refuses Mindy for a new mother so as not to break the old one's heart. Mr. Bickley (Tom Poston) passes, so it's up to a well dressed Exidor (Robert Donner) to save the day: "I'd do anything for this waif!" Miss Kalinowski (Priscilla Morrill) conducts the interview with Exidor, who gives a stirring speech on why he wishes to adopt an adult man for a son: "if we could bag what I just said over there, we could double the corn crop in Kansas!" Yes folks, who would have believed that Exidor would eventually become Mork's father!
