Sometimes all the pieces come together and make for an excellent 'My Family' episode, and this is a fine example of that.
We get two really strong storylines - Ben being driven crazy by the kids/Abi and Susan visiting Janey at Uni.
The Ben storyline is hilarious, with Kris Marshall on top form as Nick, who this week has decided to be a female impersonator. Marshall really must've been a writers dream during his time on the show. Seeing Ben be something other than grumpy is a nice change too.
I liked the Susan story, and there were elements of the character here that sadly seemed to get lost in later years. The scene in the showers was my favourite.
Overall a wonderful episode.
