Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: [to John] What you got?
Det. John Clark, Jr.: Uh, looks to me like a high priced call girl.
Det. Baldwin Jones: OK, the doorman called in the job, building manager's on his way in.
Det. John Clark, Jr.: [to Andy] What are you doing out of uniform?
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: Did you talk to building management, find out who's paying the rent?
Det. Baldwin Jones: They're not in yet. You know I thought that once we cleared Bale's shooting, you were going to go back to patrol.
Det. Laura Murphy: [smiling] Tell them already.
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: Chief of Detectives gave me the squad.
Det. Baldwin Jones: [surprised] When?
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: Last night at Medavoy's racket.
Det. Baldwin Jones: And you didn't say anything there?
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: I wanted to make sure that Duffy didn't change his mind and I didn't want to take away from Medavoy's night.
Det. Rita Ortiz: [smiling] The message came through this morning that it was a done deal
Det. Baldwin Jones: Whoa, wait: so you're actually squad commander?
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: Yeah.
Uniform: Congratulations.
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: Thanks, Gruden.
Det. John Clark, Jr.: [shrugs] Not sure I can work with you.
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: No, huh?
Det. Laura Murphy: [tongue in cheek] I'm not sure any of us can.
Sgt. Andy Sipowicz: [grinning] Well, that'll work out good then, cause I was planning on bringing in my own people anyways.
