One ring to bind them

The episode begins with tragic love and suffering on a Scottish castle, loosely based on Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'. Elena kills herself upon finding Calum's body, or so she thinks. The rings of Calum & Elena are said to have the power to bind two people together in eternal love. One of them is found at London centuries later, and Sydney is asked to find the other one, because only the pair of them is useful. So she books a flight to Scotland...

An average episode featuring the typical 'candlelit castle with dangerous traps' routine. Sydney's love/hate relationship with Francois is not convincing. However there is a nice moral message in the episode that love cannot be controlled.
