Hard to play, no continuity or instructions that make sense. Buy it at a yard sale this summer for a quarter, but pass on it now. This has limited game play i would say once at most. My wife and I quit playing it after two hours of trying to figure out why there is a game board, and why the clue cards exist at all. We are in our early thirties, love the show, and are not technologically challenged. But this game is a mix of playing 1980's pong style games with less of a point and less of a mental challenge. I don't know what I need to continue and say more but I need 10 lines so...DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS GAME. Watch the show, but avoid this waste of money and time at all costs.

My husband, teenage daughter and I just *TRIED* to play "24 the DVD Board Game". It is horrible. It is monotonous and very difficult to maneuver through the different areas. We got stuck at the hospital trying to administer the medications. It just didn't work! We did everything the instructions said and it doesn't work! It is difficult to maneuver throughout the different locations. There was nothing wrong with our DVD or remote control. So, we know it was the game. We're planning on returning the game back to the store...but not sure if they'll take it back. We didn't keep the receipt. Very disappointing Christmas gift. We don't plan on buying anymore DVD games because we don't want to be ripped off again. We had such high hopes for this game since we really like the show. Three thumbs wayyy down.
  • I was SO excited to play this game because I am an obsessive fan. All I can say is my extreme love for the show is CLEARLY not shown for the game. After playing Day 1 for hours, it is possible to pass. Day 2 on the other hand is impossible and day 3 is just as bad. Of course you have to pass ALL three days just to get to the board game aspect of the game which is dumb since it is impossible. Why have a board game when it is not even used in the game itself. At first I wondered why Jack Bauer was the only real character within the game and then I realized if I was a character on the show, I would not want to be associated with the game in any means. Luckily in the T.V. show the world can be saved within 24 hours, unlike the board game where innocent people die or go crazy trying to pass the game.

This game was very disappointing. I am a big 24 fan. I started to play this game with my kids. It seemed like it would be great fun. The graphics looked great. Each player controls his agent on screen. There are selectable locations to choose from. It looked great but was impossible to play. One must maneuver past surveillance cameras and laser beams - COOL! It can't be done. We tried different remotes and even tried it on the computer. It was totally worthless. The most disappointing thing is that it would have been a most excellent game for a 24 fan! IT also seemed like it would be a new era in interactive board game play - another disappointment!
  • Both myself and my girlfriend "TRIED" playing this game but as with many others who have been in touch with this site we got stuck at the hospital stage on day 1 and the driving stage on day 2. Came onto this site to find help but decided that some of the comments about this dreadful game were MUCH MORE AMUSING and FUN than the game itself.

IF YOU HAVE SPARE MONEY TO SPEND TRY SPENDING IT ON SOMETHING FUN, LIKE

    THE DENTIST!!!

    please please please please

    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

complete waste of time and money
  • I absolutely love "24", so was very disappointed at this game. Board seemed irrelevant, and instructions didn't make it clear how to use the board, the pieces, or even the remote control to advance the "player". Spent 3 wasted hours trying to figure out what to do to advance, and I'm considered a techno geek! I'd recommend the makers of this game go back to the drawing board pronto! One scene had a car and by using the remote we were supposed to follow the car. Pushing accelerate, left turn, right turn, or the brake all failed. The only thing that worked was not to do anything at all, and even then the prompt eventually read that I'd let the fellow get away! Navigating through an art gallery required maneuvering through laser alarms, but there were no instructions on how to avoid them and every possible combination of buttons yielded nothing but random results but never success. This game is a shameful excuse for adventure, and I consider myself very forgiving and a willing buyer!
  • At first I was really excited to play this game, that was until I played it. This game is impossible and absolutely worthless. I don't understand how you are expect to win the game without proper instructions. The instructions on the DVD game don't work. A few good examples of impossible situations are ;the car chase, hospital, museum, or anything with cameras or lasers since it is impossible to get through, avoid at all costs. It is really stupid that the you can't use the board game until you get through the first 3 days which all but the 1st day are impossible. The lag on shooting is really bad too. If you are going to the store for this game turn around NOW!
