  • This is one of those games, which I didn't plan to get, but when I did, it turned out to be really good. And though the producers abandoned this game, players didn't - they now make modifications of it (don't forget to download newest patch in order to play online!)

The game is a strategy with few elements of RPG. The important thing is, that all of the units you control, are unique characters, that don't ever repeat and cannot be built at some barracks, etc. Each character has it's own level in every of 4 professions (soldier, engineer, mechanic, scientist). Such combination ended very well.

OWar's greatest factor is the storyline, or rather the way it's told (from both Americans' and Russians' perspective). It's making it very entertaining. Plus the idea, that main resource, from which we construct our buildings would be the sent from the future boxes with various materials.

The other things are music and sounds. The first one was considered - the music perfectly matches to each nation. While sounds are also good and nicely to hear, I can't skip dubbing - which in mine, Polish version, was just perfect.

As it's often with good strategy games - it's not about some incredible graphics. And so it is in this case - they're good enough, to not complain.

Finally, I vote this game 8/10 and I highly recommend it for people, who entertain good storyline and strategy games. If you can afford to have it, try it - it's worthy.
