Booth and Brennan are flown all the way to Vegas to investigate a corpse found in the desert. While looking at one that had been there for years, they spot a vulture flying over a fresh one. This leads to the investigation of the death of a young woman who was an extreme fighter. The two of them go undercover. Bones ends up looking incredibly sexy as she takes on the role of Booth's "woman." Along the way, they rub the casino bosses the wrong way and end up with some threat. I thought this was OK but the conclusion seemed a bit too easy. It was a good vehicle for the two stars and I hope they do more undercover work.
  • I enjoy a good travel episode. Thank you Bones the tipsters profession should have no bearing on her information. Come on Booth are you really surprised Bones hasn't seen Fight Club? Before they change to go see Joe Nolan for the first time while they're walking by the pool Booth is wearing a Guys and Dolls t shirt, I was in that musical in high school. Hahaha yes Bones it does seem as if Booth knows everyone in Vegas. I get it Billie if I had a daughter I'd do everything to protect her too. Ofcourse she bet on you Booth she believes in you completely.

Hi Bones Booth! This is one of my favorite episodes since it is the first time that Bones and Booth go undercover. I love the meta-ness of Emily acting as Bones acting as Roxy acting as the silent film actress Clara Bow (or as Bones imagined she sounded, LoL). I don't often get worried for Booth's safety, but I did when they changed up his fight card. Thank goodness Bones helped him out and got to the point...eventually. Sending Marisol all the way to the Jeffersonian seemed a bit unnecessary, but I'm not an anthropologist, so what do I know. In the B plot, Hodgins egging Zack on to the point of physical violence was very amusing, especially how Zack looked so upset to find that he reacted in such an irrational way.
