A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory.
While much of the show has focused on String Theory, the most often mentioned physicist is Hawking. However, the "Father of String Theory" is Dr. Leonard Susskind, who has proven Hawking wrong on several occasions.
I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested!
There are several chronological errors in the pictorial time-line shown during the musical title sequence. For example, the Moai of Easter Island are shown as "BC" and the Giza Pyramids follow the Chichen Itza 'El Castillo'.
One of the final cards to appear in the credit sequence is the vanity card for Chuck Lorre Productions. In keeping with his practice on "Dharma and Greg" and "Two and a Half Men", there is a different message on the card each week, written by Chuck Lorre himself.
