Live from NY, NY; Manhattan Center

Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Rob Bartlett & Randy Savage

Hulk Hogan, Brutus Beefcake, and Jimmy Hart cut a pre-taped promo about Money INC and Wrestlemania. The highlight is Hogan claiming he's spent all weekend smashing Brutus's face in with a metal suitcase. Wow.

Money INC Vs Virgil & "El Matador" Tito Santana

IRS pins Virgil with a back suplex to give Money INC the win. This was a mediocre match up. Not much happens during the match, just rest holds, a few punches, and a suplex. I expected a little more.

    *1/2

    Tatanka Vs Phill Apollo

Tatanka wins a Samoan drop. The only noteworthy thing about this match is that Shawn Michaels phoned in. It was a complete squash.

    ½*

    Papa Shango Vs Mike Edwards

Papa Shango wins with a shoulderbreaker. This was an annoying squash match. I hate squash matches in general.

    1/4*

    Bob Backlund Vs Tony Demoro

Backlund wins with a double underhook suplex. This was pretty boring with too much stalling, even for a squash match. Weirdly enough, the crowd adored Backlund.

    DUD

Rob Bartlett interviews Rick Martel. He says Bartlett has no class, and that Mr. Perfect is boring.

"The Model" Rick Martel Vs Mr. Perfect

Perfect wins during the commercial break. That kinda irritated me because I was really starting to get into the match. I understood it, though. They were running out of time. I'd say this match is just above average.

    **1/4

    4/10 overall.
