A battle-hardened American political consultant is sent to help re-elect a controversial president in Bolivia, where she must compete with a long-term rival working for another candidate.
You know, when Adlai Stevenson was running for president, a woman came up to him on a rally one night and said, "Every thinking person will be voting for you." And Stevenson said, "Ma'am, that's not enough. I need a majority."
Jane brings her co-worker to Bolivia and introduces her as Sarah LeBlanc. Later in the movie, Buckley introduces LeBlanc to Eduardo and his Bolivian friends as follows: "this is my underage judgmental friend LeBlanc. She is not real. And apparently, she doesn't have a first or last name either. It's just LeBlanc." As Buckley when present when Jane introduces LeBlanc, he knew her first name was Sarah.
