  • Watching the hundreds of XXX rom-coms popular from leading porn labels like Wicked and Adam & Eve decades back one can find a few hidden treasures but generally they come off as weak attempts to attract that elusive "Couples" audience in an era constantly moving toward the gonzo end of the spectrum.

This Wicked feature starring Katie Morgan was made by leading director Michael Raven later in his career, and suffers from tired blood. The gimmick of each cast member directly addressing the camera, almost in the manner of Warren Beatty's famous (and effective) use of "witnesses" in his '70s epic "Reds", is way overused and unfunny.

The "com" content of Jennifer Allison's screenplay is groan-worthy rather than amusing. Story of romance via computer dating is poorly developed, consisting mainly of XXX flashback scenes as anecdotes leading to the hook-up of Morgan and male lead Eric Masterson. Much of the footage is cornball misogyny in the chatter between Eric and his womanizing pal Barrett Blade, set in a bar shot in way-overdone soft-focus by WIcked's house cinematographer Francois Clousot.

Starlet Andie Valentino (that's how her name is spelled here on screen, not the erroneous variant listed by IMDb) gets an "Introducing" credit but the pretty actress with big boobs is unimpressive in her acting. Worst performance goes to Evan Stone, hammy as an egotistical cowboy resembling the improv nonsense Stone so often contributes to his BTS appearances.
