Almost a decade back, Hajime Isayama made his breakthrough as a mangaka with his series Attack on Titan. The manga remains relevant because of its poignant portrayal of war and strife. But most importantly, it serves as a purpose to highlight the dystopian society.
It is anything but a bog-standard shōnen manga, especially in its portrayal of human bonds. The dystopian series enmeshes themes of survival with love and friendship. In a war-torn society, there is no respite, and this applies especially to Mikasa.

As Eren’s close friend, she was his close confidante and a trusted family member. And while the series outlined their tragic love story, it failed significantly in other aspects. But mostly, to explore her relationship with yet another character.
Mikasa and her family connections remain uncharted
As we all know, Mikasa is one of the leading ladies in the series.

Vinland Saga is surprisingly exceptional, in recreating the Vikings theme way better than most Western adaptations ever could. The series is built upon a rich human narrative that stands taller than most of the generic anime, portraying the balance between the horrors of war and the joys of freedom.

In the realm of anime, only a select few titles have reached remarkable milestones and attained legendary status, with Attack on Titan remaining one of the most acclaimed series, captivating fans around the globe. After enthralling fans for over a decade, Hajime Isayama is responsible for one of history’s most popular anime franchises in the community.
From watching Eren’s ambition for freedom to turning into the final villain, AoT fandom was left speechless by Isayama’s narrative at the end of the final season. Despite Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan’s controversial conclusion, the ending cements it as one of the greatest anime series ever made.
Following the extensive bloodshed at the end, many fans now consider it on a par with Vinland Saga. However, the AoT fandom may be surprised to discover the similarities between Isayama’s work and this iconic title that dominated its era.

The recent spike in One Piece’s popularity is extraordinary. From fans to renowned figures of the anime industry like Takehiko Inoue and Yoshiyuki Tomino, many sing praises for Eiichiro Oda’s exceptional skills as a mangaka. In the world of anime, only a few studios have an amazing reputation and a memorable name like Wit Studio, the hands behind Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga, and Spy x Family. The anime and manga world is filled with prominent main characters who have made an impact on their series and on the community as a whole. While anime like Attack on Titan has been hailed for its unique take on dark themes and multifaceted characters, there is another series that quietly competes for the throne with its deep, character-driven storyline — Vinland Saga. Although it doesn’t display the rapid chaos or destruction of Titans devouring humans, the character development and philosophical depth of this anime can make even Attack on Titan run for their money.

This is also something many are hoping to see with Destin Daniel Cretton’s Naruto film.

Vinland Saga is one of those stories that resonate with mature anime fans for years together. At first, readers might think it’s all about seeking revenge for the death of the main character’s father. In that journey, Thorfinn accompanies his dad’s killer, Askeladd, in his escapades to loot villages and annihilate the inhabitants.

Later, in season 2, Vinland Saga changed its tone completely. From Thorfinn wanting to kill and Canute desiring love and peace to Thorfinn incorporating pacifism and Canute sending his men to kill villagers for their land. Because of the tone shift, some fans didn’t really enjoy it as much as they first started watching the series.

"Vinland Saga" brings the era of the Vikings to the realm of anime. The titular "Vinland" is the name that Viking explorer Leif Erikson gave to North America after reaching its shores, and in the series, that far off land represents a wish to escape to a better place than where you currently stand. Eren Yeager’s venture is one hell of a ride in the world of Attack on Titan. There are few characters in the anime universe who evoke as much debate and introspection as him. Formerly seen as a typical Shonen protagonist, his journey took a dark, morally dubious turn that left people questioning the very nature of heroism and villainy. However, fans might not know that crafting Eren’s persona wasn’t always set in stone by Hajime Isayama.

Although Isayama had a vision of how the story would end, he had consistently developed his storytelling and transformed his narrative choices in different ways throughout the journey of the creative process. Similarly, Isayama has openly credited Eren’s voice actor Yuki Kaji for influencing the portrayal of Eren, steering him away from a direction that would entirely change the story from what it is now.

With its incredible work on series like Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga, Wit Studio has made a name for itself as an important contender in the anime industry. Founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of I.G. Port, this studio has gained acclaim for handling projects with mature and intense plots. However, their track record with big franchises additionally presents cause for concern, particularly in light of the One Piece remake.

Since its release in 1997, Eiichiro Oda’s renowned manga One Piece has been a staple in the anime and manga realm. Toei Animation has further enhanced the popularity of this series through its anime adaption. However, despite its success, Toei Animation has received its fair share of criticism for its censorship and toned-down portrayal of the manga’s darker themes. Manga readers have been yearning for an adaptation that captures Oda’s raw gritty vision for a long time.

Cate Blanchett’s role as Galadriel in The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) was iconic for several reasons. The actress played the role of a royal elf with magical abilities and narrated the prologue scene. Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy ended up becoming one of the most successful franchises.
The actress was a part of the later sequels of the 2001 movie, but she was not supposed to return for the prequel. This was because it was based on J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit prequel, which did not include Galadriel’s character. However, a playful email resulted in the movie version including the popular role, which pleasantly surprised fans.

With only the season finale remaining, Suicide Squad Isekai is an underrated gem that needs to be appreciated more. It is by no means a perfect show. In fact, there are many ways in which it can be criticized. Wit Studio is usually rather adept with the animation style, having some acclaimed anime under their wing. The roster is one that has shown time and again just how wonderful Wit can be with the animation. So it begs the question as to why DC’s attempt at a strong anime is getting such treatment. The series could have been so much better if certain aspects of it were taken into consideration, but what it lacks makes it difficult for a larger audience to hold onto it.

Mangakas and authors are often given the liberty of expressing their own beliefs when writing and drawing their works. Wada acknowledged that the older 4:3 aspect ratio and animation techniques, along with the 1000 plus episode count might deter new viewers from watching the iconic anime.
He highlighted the need to make One Piece more visually appealing and accessible to younger audiences accustomed to modern animation styles.
