Yukimura shared this update in a recent interview with Anime Corner, revealing that he had guided the story to its final arc as planned. However, the exact details of its ending remain uncertain even to him.

“I only have a few more chapters to write for the story of Vinland Saga,” Yukimura explained. “I came this far just the way I planned, but honestly from this point and beyond, I have no idea what’s going to happen. Honestly, I don’t know how this is going to pan out at the end. I’m going to do my best, though.”

While I do believe that the sexual violence can be a little excessive to the point where it can be uncomfortable for newcomers, diving into Berserk‘s mature themes reveals why it’s a top manga recommendation, including mine. The themes and characterisations within Berserk are so powerful that the manga can drastically change a person’s outlook on life.

Vinland Saga fans are in for a treat as Barnes & Noble’s Fifth Avenue location in New York City will host Makoto Yukimura for a Vinland Saga Deluxe 4 signing event.

The in-person-only event will take place on Thursday, Oct 17, 2024, at 1:00 Pm Et.

Vinland Saga Deluxe 4 includes volumes 10-12 of the Japanese edition of Vinland Saga and new bonus content.

While anime like Attack on Titan has been hailed for its unique take on dark themes and multifaceted characters, there is another series that quietly competes for the throne with its deep, character-driven storyline — Vinland Saga. In a recent interview, George Wada, CEO of Wit Studio and Production I.G, said that The One Piece which is currently under production at Wit, will address two major flaws of the ongoing adaptation in order to attract new anime fans.

Wada acknowledged that the older 4:3 aspect ratio and animation techniques, along with the 1000 plus episode count might deter new viewers from watching the iconic anime.

He highlighted the need to make One Piece more visually appealing and accessible to younger audiences accustomed to modern animation styles.
