Only got into the show when I found the trailer for the cross-over show being a fan of Mr. Iglesias and The Big Show Show. Decided to watch it and it's up there with one of my favourite shows, granted some bits make me cringe a bit.

I always thought that if someone is/isn't interested in you, it was because of a mental list that lists what type partner you want, but found out about the friendzone and it ruined me mentally. By watching the bit where Ashley finally realised that she was interested in Stick by going through what she was looking for in a guy and realised Stick checked all the boxes made me relaxed that I'm not ruining my chances with this so called friendzone and that being friends is one of the best ways to get more comfortable and start a relationship with someone as you figure out if they are the person you want to be with.

Like the title says, it's a show that can be relatable to many young people. Yes, it is a show and people might think it's not right to follow life with what happens in television shows. But some shows can really help people find a missing part of themselves, this is one of those shows.
  • I really liked this show i think it's so lighthearted, funny and simple but of course it wasn't great because there were episodes that didn't have a real pupose (weren't that good), and the idea of the show is milked. and jencarlos canela (victor) he's a real talent he was the best thing in the show and of course the rest of the crew was good but he's just on other level everytime he appears on screen i laugh. final score: (6.5) but since you can't put that number i'll make it 7 ;)
  • The show is very flat with very rare but very flat jokes. I am sure the actors themselves wouldn't have laughed when they heard heard the script gor the first time.
  • I really liked the "Latino theme", I think the dialogue is quite funny, although sometimes a little absurd, however the actors are good in general. On the other hand I think that in many series the Latino community is portrayed as delinquent, lazy etc. And I think this should change. The main character Ashley is intelligent and creative and her uncle is a famous athlete and musician, which makes it different from the other series.
  • The expanding universe of Ashley Garcia is such a underrated show. I am a teenager in highschool who is a nerd and I love how relatable this show is to me.
  • The lead character is the youngest MIT graduate and has two Phd's and her whole storyline is,,,about a boy. if i wanted a story like this, i could just watch a thousand other shows. the problem isn't entirely that though, it's that she's treated as a side character. the boy or other characters usually have problems and she's only there to help them fix it. i liked some episodes that actually focused on her, though. i don't hate the show, i just think they could do more with this story more than the usual boy crush storyline.

Season 1. Watching this was a highlight of my day the storyline is relatedble funny,heartfelt...can't wait to see what season 2 has to offer...overall this show GG
  • Poor scripting and jokes. Poor storyline and characters
  • Is netflix adding reviews to their own show? Why does show have 10 star ratings??? How come that everytime netflix tries to make a empowering female-led tv show that the "super-smart" girl is foolish, boy crazy, and goofy? I was disappointed by the get-go and wished netflix would stop making stale sitcoms with weak leads about girls getting their first kiss :(

The characters are so fun and cute. Every single episode makes me laugh. Great young actors too. And Uncle Victor is hot :)

Not the worst, but a lot of stereotypes that just really bug me. And the contrast either the characters are like Ashley ( a genious) or Tad (idiot). It seems to me there is no in between. This makes the show feel unnatural. I would really love to have a characters who are not dumb but also not child prodigies.

I will say, the idea behind the show was quite good, unfortunately poor execution ruined it.
  • I watched the pilot out of boredom and was happily impressed! It is a refreshing and cool show to watch. Just what we need right now. Great show.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Tad fr doesnt want to play football, then quotes ' for the first time in my life, i know what i want to do' then goes to sign up for a musical,, in dead poets society neil says that but stars in a local play. wowie! strict parents <3
  • It was fun to watch... especially Ashley and her Uncle Victor. It brings in cultural elements without making it about the culture, instead it's a show about Latinos dealing with life in a humorous, loving way. A joy to see Latinos in non stereotypical roles.
  • Ashley Garcia is a great show for that pre-teen early teenage kids. My husband and I enjoy it as well. It's nice to sit together and watch something together.
  • 1st August, 2021, Episodes 1-6, Netflix.

The fact that only 1K people have rated this series, can itself say that it is not a good one to watch, but, hey anyways, read my review.

3 parts and 15 episodes, I couldn't surpass 6 episodes. It's an awful collab of The Big Bang Theory and The Friends, reimitated by some pathetically acting teenage cast. Boring at its finest, I challenge you to sit through it, without opening your mouth for a long yawn. Zzz.

Just love it! Want to see more of it! Hope the part 3 and 4 are coming soon
  • Very finny show. Actors are very dynamic. Great for the nerdy underdogs of society.
  • I really like this show. I have seen it more than once, and have shown it to the rest of my family. Its cultural and inspires young women who want to study in the science fields, or even math. I am a scientist and honestly if this show was on tv when i was younger it definitely would of gave me the confidence of being Latina and studying science or anything i wanted. If you are ending it, Netflix, at least end it with a great ending, or at least have her be with Stick in the end.
  • The show is sweet, simple, not exaggerating things but I don't know why is this soo under rated. Anyways good show to watch..
  • I love that show. I watched the whole series in the evening on Friday 20 February. Because the show was so great I watched the whole show again on Saturday. I'm looking forward to the second part and hope that there will be many more seasons.
  • This series contains a lot of good humor, never laughed so much in another comedy series. Recommended from me, hope there will be a season 2.
