Espn’s popular radio program “Mike & Mike” officially has an expiration date. The network announced during Tuesday’s Upfront presentation that Mike Greenberg’s new morning show will premiere on January 1, 2018 without Mike Golic. “One of the many benefits of working at Espn is that change and evolution are in our DNA,” Greenberg said. “My run with Golic has been an incredible experience that I’ll always treasure, but having the chance to engage multiple voices every morning in a dialogue on each day’s sports stories will be a great new challenge.” Greenberg will be joined by several full-time co-hosts and a.

Fox Movies has announced the possibility of re-making the musical West Side Story because Steven Spielberg has evidently expressed an interest in doing so. A part of me, a large part of me, wonders if that’s a good idea. The original won ten Oscars and is considered a movie classic. So – why? Why do a remake? It might be different but will it be better? How likely is that?
It puts me in mind of Gus Van Sant’s shot by shot re-make of Psycho. Why did he bother other than as an artistic exercise? Why did the studio okay it? One of the justifications I heard is the younger generation won’t go to the original because it’s in black and white. Seriously? They can’t be that shallow.
At one point there was talk of doing a re-make of Casablanca as a film. That was fortuitously abandoned.

Army of Darkness is to receive a comic book reboot from Dynamite Entertainment.
30 Days of Night writer Steve Niles is reimagining the series for the publisher under the new title of Ash and the Army of Darkness.
The rebooted series will retain the comedy-horror overtones of its comic book and movie predecessors, following the time-travelling adventures of Ash Williams as he takes on hordes of demons.
"What I'm doing with Ash and the Army of Darkness is a complete reboot," said Niles. "We start [with] the last frame of the film and then go right to the next.
"It's a wild ride and I think fans of the film will be very happy because I am bringing back a lot of what made the movie so fun. My run of Ash and the Army of Darkness takes place almost entirely in the 1300s setting.
"That was what made Army of Darkness stand apart.

In what seems to be the latest in a wave of internal (and vocal) criticisms directed at some of the larger comic book publishers, Marvel writer Greg Rucka recently opening up in Mark Millar’s CLiNT magazine about how his patience is wearing thin with the current practices at both Marvel and DC Comics. With DC’s New 52 relaunch last year and Marvel’s upcoming Marvel Now! initiative, there’s no question that there’s been a great deal of shuffling among creative teams, abruptly pushing many talented creators off of books they’ve held long runs on. In addition to these changes, many in the industry have begun to raise an eyebrow at the current directions that the companies are taking when it comes to quality over quantity on their many different properties.

Check out Lindsay's major fashion statement & tell us what you think! Every actress should know there's a time and a place for sideboob -- and it's not when you're in the presence of the President of the United States. Lindsay Lohan walked the red carpet April 28 at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner, and while we won't deny she looked gorgeous, we have to wonder if it was entirely appropriate for her to be flashing sideboob. Of course, Lindsay's sideboob wasn't the only reason people are talking about her. She also reportedly missed her original flight to Washington D.C., but took to Twitter to clear that rumor up: "Didn't miss my flight," she tweeted in response to a fan asking if she'd still be attending the dinner. "Was always taking a red eye because i was working during the original flight." So what do you think of Lindsay's sideboob?...

Jennifer Lawrence landed on the A-list earlier than most. Oscar-nominated for "Winter's Bone" at just 20 years old, the Kentucky-born actress won the role of Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games," meaning her meteoric rise should only increase, provided the film cashes in as expected the box office. It's certainly an exciting time for J.Law, though -- at the moment -- she's a little concerned with her awkward "karate hands," which only come out when she runs. "I'm a weird runner," Lawrence told Moviefone when asked about her training for the future blockbuster. "So, that was unfortunate."
In "The Hunger Games," Lawrence is forced to do a lot of running: she plays Katniss Everdeen, the District 12 tribute sent to compete in the annual Hunger Games, a barbaric event where the citizens of Panem, the post-apocalyptic name given to what's left of North America, watch their children kill one another for sport.
