Mile High's new label Bellesa Films, self-proclaimed as "Porn by women", continues to deliver rather tepid DVDs, made by the same director Jacky St. James who creates far more invigorating product for its venerable Sweet Sinner banner. Perhaps the scripts (not written by JStJ, unlike her self-penned SS features) plus the 4 separate vignettes structure are to blame.
As the DVD title suggests, we have four couples on the verge of having sex, but pausing for some reason, generally of the "playing hard to get" category. Riley Reid has used the internet to begin a texting back & forth relationship with Abella Danger, but at their first meet-up (on RR's doorstep), she is reluctant to bed down with her. Of course, soon after the lesbian sex is consummated by these two overworked pros. Hardly riveting entertainment, even for their most ardent fans.
The other segments are conventional boy/girl action. "Goodnight Kiss" has lovely Emily Willis tantalizing Michael Vegas at her doorstep, with little to no suspense concerning the "will she or won't she" aspect of their relationship.
"Tension" refers to sexual tension, as beautiful blonde Euro star Anny Aurora keeps tempting her roommate Tyler Nixon en route to humping him.
Finale is titled "Just Friendship", with pals since childhood Gianna Dior and Damon Dice discussing her not being satisfied in the sack with her boyfriend (no orgasms), a problem easily solved by DD servicing her. Just another yawner, the sort of overly "soft" hardcore porn which has, often unjustly, subjected the Couples Romance genre of Adult Cinema to ridicule.
