A group of friends venture deep into the streets of New York on a rescue mission during a rampaging monster attack.
The decapitated head of the Statue of Liberty in the street is inspired by the poster for John Carpenter's Escape from New York (1981), which depicts the head of the Statue of Liberty lying in the middle of the street.
It's 6:42 AM. Beth's dad's place. He's out of town. And it's already a good day.
When Beth and Rob are sitting under the bridge at the end of the movie, Beth has her left arm up, touching her head. This should be impossible or at least excruciatingly painful as her left shoulder was pierced by a steel bar earlier in the film.
During the Paramount and Bad Robot logos, ambiance can be heard faintly in the background.
