  • From where it began, the first season was bang on capturing all the minute details . The present season lacks substance, relatability is missing.
  • Wow. Sat down with massive expectations for season two after waiting for so long only to be disappointed thoroughly. The bar was set so high with the storyline, character building, real life projection on screen just got demolished in span of a year. So much potential wasted in 4 new episodes that seemed like was only made just to made, having no knowledge of what they are even making.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 > season 2 > season 3... There is no comparison between season 1 and season 3... the biggest difference between season 1 and other two seasons are the direction season 1 is directed by raghav subbu which also directed kota factory... in season 1 there are very small and minor details showed in a brilliant way that u can enjoy and live the hostel life although u have been ever hosteller or non hosteller but in season 3 every thing looks messy... and the main lead the heart of the show Adarsh gaurav (Ankit) is missing... his character can't be replaced with any other actor... if Adarsh couldn't join the cast they could have ended his character like he had left college or he transferred into other university... the real dopa aka ankit is missing...

TVF proves it yet again, why their series are so highly connectable to their viewers. Cast as always delivers their best. Capturing all those Hostel moments in a short 5 episode series. You will always have a smile on your face throughout these 2.5 hours. Hostel Daze surely will take you on a nostalgic trip back to your Hostel Days.
  • An amazing series to watch. All episodes are full of entertainment you won't get bored for sure. A must watch series!!!
  • Jatt Bhai you are a legend in that haryanvi accent and attitude. Any every hostel got a guy like a chirag over reacting. Jhatoo and cooldude69 are also great. Eagerly waiting for more episodes just 5 episodes isn't enough at least need 10 for season finale.
  • Ragging, Clubs, Crush, Birthday and Exam.. what else you need.. Acting, punches, and the twist in every episode.. I am sure it will connect you better than any hostel stories. Go ahead. A must watch
  • Season 2 is the worst as the content quality is worst. The actors are great but the content is not up to the mark. It's bad of complete cliche and useless dialogues.

A truly treat to watch the whole series.all credits goes to casting directors they handpicked each and every person and they turn out to be exceptionally well in all the episodes. Hoping they ain't suck on its season two TVF AT ITS BEST....
  • The show is amazing, it settles down the dust between the reality and the bollywood films. Actors have done justice to there roles. It's extremely relatable to types of chirkuts one would have encountered in college and also to oneself. Prefer to watch it with your friends.
  • When gaali, references and preaching take the front seat and story, characters are locked in the bootThe latest season was a bad one. The only thing good about season 2 is music.
  • I revisited my hostel life...very realistic.. true hostel life of engineers
  • For people like me who is following TVF from initial days this series looks very familiar. Only problem is you will feel like you have seen this in some or other TVF YouTube episode. It's relatable to every engineering graduate and definitely a good watch but I would be more interested in something fresh and new from talented TVF team like Panchayat.
  • Season 1 was pretty solid, hilarious joy ride. What a let off Season 2 has been. The quality of jokes dropped harder than my CGPA. Jhatoo aka Jatin was the only savior of S02. They haven't even kept the consistency in storyline. Ankit was a civil engineering student in 1st year but in 2nd year he's a CS engineering student. Did not expect this from TVF.
  • It gaves me real feel of hostel life ,it is better than chhichhore
  • Amazing series which tries to capture all the aspects of beautiful memories in hostel.. Well written and well executed and very relatable.. You can't just stop laughing.
  • S2 was really not a good one from Hostel Daze. However, this time in S3, it is a little better than S2.

Adarsh Gaurav departs and in comes Utsav sarkar for Ankit's role and i really missed Adarsh. Utsav doesnt have the character Adarsh gave to Ankit. And more so, his character has been mostly sidelined , the only episode where he gets some good screen space is Dosti ka Udhari. That too is shared between him and Chirag. Surprisingly, this season has focused more on Chirag. In every episode, he seems to be taking the lead except maybe the GSHA episode where Jhatoo was in focus. Jaat is the only character who got equal space in all episodes, not too much space, nor too less.

At this point, Ankit's character does not excite me anymore. No body can replace Adarsh. The girls Ahaas and Nabo too have very limited screen space. Watch out for Chirag and Nabo, they have a nice surprise at the end for you !

Still, in terms of the comedy factor, this season is far better than S2. The jokes didnt look forced unlike S2 and the entertainment seemed okayish this time, better than s2. Still, A lot of things are irrelevant or overdone in hostel daze like boys happily getting entry into girls college or replacing yoga with alcohol for better stress relief etc after all its a fictional tale and ya, hostel daze at this point is no more a relevant series (what it pretended to be in S1) but just a commercial entertainer. Lights camera Cut, GSHA and Wing Chor and Dear Seniors were the best ones for me. Dear Seniors episode is the traditional style that Hostel Daze has been following to include one emotional episode at the end and you can easily sense one in the probably last season which will come next year.

Raju Shrivastava has been placed exactly in the last emotional episode and it will be emotional to see him one last time.

Overall, a good redemption from S2 debacle. Still, S1 had even more entertainment in it and S3 is well short of that. Waiting for the placement season which will be the last season of this web series.
  • I have spent my four years in an engineering college as a hosteler and I can totally relate to everything. Starting from intro to ending at endsems, this series presents everything with a great humor. If you have ever been in hostel, you will surely love it.
  • Must watch series filled with well dialogs and nostalgic moments. Reality shown of most hostels in india unlike typical karan johar's "student of the year". Every milleannials going to remember their hostel days/daze😉 Really this series created by TVF featured on Amazon prime nailed the Netflix
  • No words to describe this masterpiece. Watch it if you want to re-live your college days and have a flashback trip.

It's the freakin reality of the hostel life of engineering students, except few exaggerated parts... Depiction was so real life that it felt like my college days and scenes were so relatable.. I really wish there were more episodes :(
  • Another hostel life story... not so unique, nothing special about it...

Yes good humour and acting. Very superficial high level story line, does not cover the pains and fun of college to full extent. It seems like a story written for recreating some part of 3 idiots and similar college life movies.

One time watch for time pass if you are free!
  • After watching Kota Factory, Pitchers and Tripling, this series falls short on the expectation.
  • You can't miss this Season!!!

After Season 1, this was the best season of Hostel Daze. I had never expected that the creators would make the last season the best and there were many times when I had tears in my eyes. Being an engineer, I really missed my college and hostel days and this series is really connected to my hostel life to the fullest. Everything was so perfect and full of small details. After watching this, I really miss my hostel days and my college friends and wish I could go back to my college life. The heartbreaks, the bonds and fights between friends, the demotivation, the tension of placement everything was damn relatable. Thank you TVF and all the characters who played their best role to make this series one of my favourites.
