10 | Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II gets everything right to send off Harry on a cinematic high
I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter books, they're all so great and magical. But I didn't think the film ...
It's beautiful here.
Bill Weasley: It was our aunt's. We used to come here as kids. The order uses it now as a safe house. What's left of us at least.
Luna Lovegood: Muggles think these keep away evil, but they're wrong.
Harry Potter: I need to talk to the goblin.
(at around 41 mins) Professor McGonagall speaks the Tabooed name, "Voldemort" BEFORE the protective defensive Charms are spoken; however, Snatchers do not appear. This is because - unlike in the book - Voldemort's name was never confirmed to have been tabooed in the film.
In a deleted scene it was confirmed. And despite so, the taboo was put in place to find Harry and a handful of others who were brave enough to say his name. By this point Voldemort is going to attack Hogwarts and his followers are already there/going there. No point in having the taboo if you are already going.
The only credits at the beginning of the movie are the Warner Brothers logo and the title "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2."
