A record company intern is hired to accompany out-of-control British rock star Aldous Snow to a concert at L.A.'s Greek Theater.
When Aaron wakes up in a London hotel after a night out with Aldous, a game resembling cricket can be seen on the TV in his room. This is not an actual game, but a parody sketch from the Dutch TV show Jiskefet (1990), aptly titled "English Sport."
Now I'm just worried about drugs. Your life's to-do list must be a baffling document. You're worried about so many things Aaron. You're worried about will we get to the show, will I perform well, will you get the credit you deserve. Mine has on it ...
Aaron and Aldous are seen flying from London to New York using Stansted Airport (it is not identified in the movie). Stansted has no passenger services to any American city, but it is logistically much easier to use as a filming location than either Heathrow or Gatwick.
After the end credits role, Aaron Green's hallucination of Sergio's head appears saying, "Go home. Get the fuck out of the theater. The movie's over."
