  • Somehow a show designed for a live, in-person audience is thriving in 2020's socially distanced reality. I say "somehow," but the answer is clear to anyone who watches: the hosts' earnest, brilliant, bizarre, and hilarious hard work has to be seen to be understood, but once you experience it, you cannot help but be moved. This year has brought me very few moments of unhindered joy and relief--many of them have been from watching this show. You will believe a Toydarian can fly, you will believe that you can laugh again. The show is very very funny and I cannot recommend it enough.

As a 31 year old father, I didn't think there was a George Lucas project I could like more than Strange Magic. Then The George Lucas Talk Show came along. Thank you George for continuing to create even after the overlords at Disney stole Star Wars from you and left you with a measly few billion dollars.

Watto and Patrick are fun too.

Great show. Watching episodes in a very different time zone and not falling asleep. Love George Lucas, Watto, Patrick and all the guests.

I hope "George," "Watto," and "Naptrick" know how great they are.
  • The chemistry between George Lucas, Watto, and their wacky, nap-prone producer Patrick has made this show a must-see for comedy fans. After the COVID-related hiatus of the live show, the gang decided to do some fundraising with a marathon viewing of the entire chronological Star Wars film series (including the Holiday Special and both Ewok films) on May the 4th; since those 34+ hours of comedy occurred, each Sunday we have been lucky enough to see the silliness continue and evolve. The possibilities of what you will get out of each episode keep it surprising; the comedians behind it make it essential.
  • I love The George Lucas Talk Show. I've been watching the show a lot while trying to get my infant to sleep, and more than once I laugh so hard that I almost wake him up. The hosts are so funny and have great chemistry. The guests they have on the show are a lot of fun. This show makes me love Star Wars even more, yet even if you're not a Star Wars fan you'll still have fun watching The George Lucas Talk Show. I hope it continues to stream for a long time.
  • Ever wonder "What if Star Wars was funny?" George Lucas self financed 39 COMPLETED episodes of a fully animated Star Wars series, Star Wars Detours. In 2012, the Walt Disney Company bought Lucasfilm and subsequently put Detours in the Disney vault. In these trying times, the people need Detours now more than ever.

Listen to retired filmmaker George Lucas, Watto, and producer Patrick Cotnoir discuss this and more on the George Lucas Talk show.

This is my favorite show that is 3.5 hours long every week no matter what.
  • This show is just what the world - nay, GALAXY needs right now. George, Watto and Patrick all keep it light and talk about movies and The Biz.

Interesting to find out which Fame-o people are "OFFER ONLY"

My only complaint (studio note) is that the show could be a little bit longer. It just seems short to me. YIPPEEE.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Watto knows I didn't believe it but he does. I never knew how much but it is a lot.
  • As someone that never missed a live GLTS each month at a theater that had trouble keeping the arm rests attached to the seats. It is a special treat to be able to watch from the comfort of my own home for 4-32 hours at a time. Retired filmmaker George Lucas and his CGI sidekick Watto, will inform, enlighten, and excite you all why raising money for good causes. Please do not forget to follow @patrickcotnoir on twitter if you really want to be cool.
  • I haven't been compelled to write an IMDB review in over 18 years, but let me say that GLTS is just. that. good. (Also, all my previous reviews are terrible and I disavow them as teenage ineptitude in action; don't let them color your views on my taste level or human worth.)

Anyway, you should watch this show, especially now that it is available to all of us outside of New York City. It's very good -- especially if you like snacks, naps, and little twists. Who doesn't like those things?? If you don't, fine, but there's plenty of other stuff too! Give it a chance, will ya?
  • This show has become the best part of my Sundays. Enough Star Wars talk to keep the biggest superfan engaged, but entertaining even if you've never seen any of the films. Somehow simultaneously smart, silly, witty, and completely off-the-wall all at the same time. Guests have ranged from Nicole Byer to Kevin Smith to fan-favorite Robert Wuhl.

    Wow!
This show is great! Can't wait for them to take over Ellen's slot.
  • George, Watto and Patrick are true heroes of our time.

This show genuinely brings me so much joy. I just moved to a new town and it has been great getting to see my old friends on Sunday nights.
  • This is the only talk show/live show I watch. I purchase all products that they advertise because I trust them implicitly.
  • What an incredible show!

I had not heard of Mr. Lucas before stumbling across this programme, however after being introduced to him and his lovable gang of friends on "Twitch Television" I dove into his filmography.

Wow, what a talent! Have you seen Howard the Duck?? What. A. Film.

We are truly blessed to have this artist give us a behind the scenes look into the marvelous magic of movie making and giving us the "inside scoop" on the wonderful world of Hollywood. More like "Hollyweird"!!
  • Be it Star Wars, Arli$$, these folks know it all!

This show truly makes my heart, lungs, vocal cords, and mouth all sing out 'yippppeeeeee!'. Also, Robert Wuhl is a friend of the show.

This show makes me so happy, that I exclaim, "Yipeeeeee!"
  • I can't remember the last time something has made me belly laugh, especially since the pandemic started. The George Lucas Talk Show is a trippy delight. A true butter boy blast!
  • I am a former disgruntled UCB Padawan that left most UcB shows feeling like I was probably wasting my life and my dreams were all a total sham, but then I found the George Lucas Talk Show. I didn't get to witness the wild and woolly glory days of UcB past where experimental comedic theater ran rampant, but I doubt any of it had as much heart and soul as the George Lucas Talk Show. Gentle, generous souls George Lucas and child slave trader extraordinaire Watto take the talk show format to a galaxy far far away from what competing meta ironic talk shows are doing, and somehow always manage to wrangle in some of the most confounding high profile guests along the way.

The Twitch era has really benefitted the show in every way. Especially regarding the guests who back in the flesh world were often actively confused or struggling to catch up. In quarantine everyone feels looser and less self conscious and that's exactly what makes the show fly by like an Irish man on an runaway pod racer.

What did we have to look forward to on Sundays? A sad British man in a box telling us about how the world is dying? Well now there's a reason to rejoice, kick back and butter your boys and maybe learn a little twist or two along the way.

10 Ton Tons out of Ton. watch this show!!
  • So cool to watch such a great show live every week. It is an experience. Please make this show forever 🙏

    Tongue
The tongue was a muscle located in the mouths of some organisms which could be used to manipulate food. Some species, such as Gungans and ikopis, were capable of extending the tongues from their mouths to reach food or liquid and pull it into their mouths. The H'nemthe species were known for their sharp tongues.
